About
Therapy is a collaborative journey between therapist and client, and while it can sometimes be confronting, my primary role is to cultivate a environment for us to address the concerns that have led you to seek support. We will work together to understand and manage these concerns in a way that is effective for you. I have experience in not-for-profit, EAP and private practice. My areas of interest include: depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, relationship difficulties, adjustment issues, developmental trauma, grief and loss, postnatal depression, interpersonal issues and reframing unhelpful beliefs. I provide tailored therapy and able to support clients seeking Autism and ADHD diagnostic assessments. A diagnostic assessment is designed to answer whether you may have autism, ADHD, or both. This process can be protective, offering a level of self-understanding that supports your identity. Neuro-affirming therapy works with how a person’s brain functions rather than against. This approach adapts tools, environments and expectations to fit the individual. It recognises stimming and sensory needs as valid, focuses on autonomy and strengths and sets collaborative goals.
