I bring invaluable life experience to this profession, and am often described as kind, compassionate and empathetic. I am passionate about supporting clients at all stages of life, with special interest areas of grief and loss, supporting carers, palliative care and end-of-life transitions. I value honesty which I believe creates a safe space free from the need to worry about being judged. I am guided by core values of compassion, integrity, and social justice, and treat each client with utmost confidentiality and respect, upholding the highest ethical standards. I am experienced in supporting clients in rural and remote areas via through online platforms, and have clients from various regions of Australia. I believe in my clients' abilities as experts of their own lives, while bringing valuable lived experience as a carer. My focus is always collaborative, strengths-based, trauma-informed and culturally-safe, flexibly tailored for each client. I practice within modalities including Solutions Focused Brief Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Narrative Therapy.
