Eryn Long
Counsellor (PACFA/ACA)
About
I'm Eryn Long, a Canberra-based Counsellor and Psychotherapist providing confidential telehealth counselling for adults across Australia. I believe meaningful therapy begins with understanding ourselves, our experiences, relationships, and the circumstances that shape how we think, feel, and respond to life. Because every person is different, my approach is collaborative, evidence-informed, and tailored to your individual needs rather than following a one-size-fits-all model. I primarily support adults experiencing anxiety, stress, burnout, mental overload, decision fatigue, emotional or ethical strain, and grief and loss. These challenges often intersect, affecting wellbeing, relationships, identity, work, and the ability to navigate change with clarity and confidence. My work integrates evidence-informed approaches including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-informed practice, Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and person-centred principles. This integrative framework allows therapy to be adapted to your goals while combining practical strategies with deeper self-understanding. I aim to provide a professional, supportive, and non-judgemental space where you can explore challenges, make sense of complexity, and develop practical, sustainable ways of moving forward in line with your values. I offer secure telehealth counselling exclusively, providing flexible and confidential support that fits around work, family, travel, and other commitments while maintaining the same professional standards as in-person therapy.
