Delaney Chow
Fields of Hope Counselling
Counsellor (PACFA/ACA)
About
I'm Delaney Chow, founder of Fields of Hope Counselling, a Sydney-based practice providing individual therapy Australia-wide via telehealth. I'm an ACA Level 4 Counsellor and PACFA Clinical Member with 8+ years of professional experience, and I'm also a SIRA Approved Provider and ACA-Accredited Supervisor. Before founding the practice, I delivered Low-Intensity CBT (LI-CBT) with a nationally funded digital mental health service, and worked as a counsellor and later Clinical Lead within an Employee Assistance Program (EAP), supporting employees across a range of industries and mental health presentations. My work draws on an integrative approach — Person-Centred Therapy, CBT, ACT, Narrative, and Solution-Focused approaches - grounded throughout in a trauma-informed lens: understanding not just what's wrong, but what happened, and what's needed now. I support adults with trauma and complex trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship and family dynamics, life transitions, and grief and loss. As an Australian-born Chinese counsellor and professing Christian who has spent a lifetime navigating between cultures, I bring particular attunement to clients exploring cultural identity and the Asian-Australian experience, with faith-integrated support available on request for clients who want that reflected in their care. I also work with workers compensation and CTP claimants, supporting psychological recovery alongside physical injury.
